Application | Gold ore concentration / CIP circuit | Pump | 350 horizontal slurry pump
350 Pump for Gold Ore Concentration
Project Background
A mid-sized gold plant expanded its leach circuit and needed additional pumping capacity for slurry transfer between the milling circuit, the leaching train and the tailings discharge. The site is remote and the local supply chain for spare parts is limited, so uptime and on-site spare inventory were deciding factors in equipment selection.
Scope of Supply
Several 350-class horizontal slurry pumps allocated to leach feed, inter-stage transfer and tailings
Mixed liner choice — rubber on finer, lower-head duties; high-chrome metallic on coarser and higher-head duties
Pre-built spare wet-end sets delivered with the main equipment so service could begin immediately on arrival
Why This Combination
Leach feed and inter-stage transfer in a CIP / CIL plant are usually fine, low-impact and run continuously — well suited to rubber liners and a long wear-part interval. Mill discharge and tailings duties see coarser feed and benefit from metallic liners. Splitting the material choice by stage rather than standardizing on one lining family tends to give more stable long-term wear rates and a clearer spare-part plan.
Result
The plant has continued to order wear parts against the same pump set as the duty has been confirmed, and uses the original delivery as a baseline for repeat orders on the same model.
