Why We Built Our Range Around Aftermarket Slurry Pump Parts

When we started supplying slurry pumping equipment, we could have tried to compete head-on with the    original equipment makers on complete new pumps. Instead we focused on the part of the market that,    in our experience, actually needs a dependable partner: aftermarket wear parts and replacement pumps    that fit equipment already installed in plants around the world.

The reason is practical. A concentrator that already runs a fleet of AH-family pumps does not want to    re-pipe its plant to switch brands. What it wants is a second source for impellers, liners and the    rest — one that fits, documents its material, and delivers on a predictable lead time. That is a    different job from selling a flagship pump, and it is the job we built our range around.

It also means our incentives line up with the plant's. A wear part that lasts longer and fits first    time reduces the customer's downtime and our own support load. We are not trying to sell the biggest    unit; we are trying to keep the one already installed running.

This focus is why we talk so much about material grades, dimensional interchangeability and    spare-parts planning. None of it is glamorous, but together it is what keeps a slurry line moving on a    remote site at 3 a.m.
