Matec MSP Submersible Slurry Pumps are designed to dewater the most abrasive sumps and ponds found in mining. Built with high-standard motors and cast high-chrome wet ends, they have proven to be a reliable, low-maintenance alternative to vertical cantilever-style pumps in aggressive duties.

The pump handles media containing solid particles such as ore powder, ash, iron-oxide scale, coal slime, mud, sand and gravel at temperatures below 70 °C. Capacity range: 25–5500 m³/h; head range: 9–135 m; power range: 4–560 kW.

Applications: Mining, metallurgy, electric power, coal, river dredging, sand dredging, pit dewatering, abrasive sump transfer.

Technical Features:

• High-chrome alloy pump shell and impeller with latest volute-liner design — efficiency over 80%;
• Double mechanical seal: one set in the oil chamber, one set in contact with pumped liquid, cooled and lubricated for >30,000 h seal life;
• Q235 steel motor housing and 316 stainless fasteners — better protection and longer motor life;
• High-efficiency motor rotor with Q2T/180 high-temperature electromagnetic copper wire;
• Redesigned bearing structure and 4Cr13 conditioned motor shaft — operating life more than 2× traditional motors;
• Custom electric control: 380–600 V, 50–60 Hz, with PLC monitoring of bearing temperature, seal leakage and motor overheating;
• Secondary cable-to-motor protection design;
• Fixed or movable installation options available.
