The volute liner converts kinetic energy from the impeller into pressure head while containing the slurry. It is the second-highest wear component after the impeller and must match the casing geometry exactly.
Volute liners are cast, heat-treated and machined to match the original casing throat and cut-water dimensions. Dimensional checks are carried out before shipment to confirm drop-in fit.
