A horizontal slurry pump in an iron-ore concentrator was seeing coarse particle distribution and high impeller wear. Frequent change-outs were disrupting the ball mill discharge circuit.
We supplied an A05-equivalent high-chrome wet end matched to the coarse particle distribution. A spare impeller and full liner set were included so the maintenance team could complete a single-end refurbishment inside a planned shutdown.
Noticeably longer impeller intervals versus the original equipment, plus improved suction behaviour during peak shifts.
